Tired of Quick Data Depletion?

Having to resubscribe earlier than expected can be a little frustrating as it cuts into the budget set out for other expenses. Not to worry! Deploy the following tips to manage your data utilization better.

i. Monitor your data usage & the apps you spend most of your time on.
ii. Set Limit Background Process on your phone - This will help to restrict data usage to only apps that you use at that moment. This will also help your battery life to be healthier.
iii. Set data limit & data warning – This aids to keep you on track when you are running out of data or when you should be more conscious of your surfing.
iv. Turn off auto-updates & auto-downloads – In a fast-growing world, we don’t want to miss anything both on the play store, WhatsApp, Telegram & the likes. For that reason, we tend to automate everything, both necessary and unnecessary. However, this results to quick data depletion. Turning off your auto updates or downloads keeps you control of contents you want to consume & updates that are necessary to you. It also helps to your data to serve you better & higher purposes.

Being disconnected while having a pile of tasks to accomplish can be draining & exasperating, however there are checks that can be carried out before throwing in the towel:

i. Confirm your data balance: More than 50% of the time we complain of our inability to browse, it turns out that our data has expired or is exhausted.
ii. Check the SIM placement: Sometimes SIM cards are not placed properly in the Broadband device, and it does not read any network. Cross checking the SIM placement will help ensure everything is set out as expected.
iii. Do a quick restart: Restarting your device might just be the answer you need to resolve your network issues.
iv. Do a hard reset: A lot of times we may have played with the configurations of the device & this may have altered the settings, making it unable to browse. A hard reset helps to restore default settings & rectify a lot of issues we may have overlooked. For your Broadband devices, a reset button is always by the side. Use a pin to push the reset button until the device restarts.
